Wow!  What a great discussion we all had.  Elizabeth was so helpful with the questions from our guests that it was suggested that we meet monthly to continue the conversation.  So, if you wanted to be there and couldn’t for some reason; we will be getting together on the first Tuesday of each month at 12:30 for an hour in the Secret Garden.

Here is the text Elizabeth has recommended for anyone  wants to learn more for themselves.
Titled Beneath a Vedic Sky by William Levacy; for sell at Pilgrim’s Way.

To many, meditation may seem to be a mysterious, odd, or formidable practice, but to those who have tasted its benefits, meditation is a divinely simple yet a deeply profound experience. If you have never tried it, meditation would be a wonderful addition to your life. You will learn very specific meditation techniques that will enhance your experience. This course is individualized to attend to the needs of each student.

Zephyr is an established meditator with 30 years experience, training with Vedic yogis, Tibetan monks, Native American elders, Kabbalah teachers, Sufi teachers and Christian monks. She also completed an intensive training at Harvard’s Mind-Body Institute, headed by Dr. Herbert Benson, author of The Relaxation Response.

Testimonial: I had been searching for a workshop that would help me feel more grounded and centered. I had read mediation books in the past, but I didn’t seem to get it. When I found Zephyr’s class at Pilgrim’s Way, I decided to give meditation another try. I was happy I did. Zephyr is a wonderful teacher. She is natural and easy to be with. The experience of being in a mediation class, practicing with others and learning various meditation tools has made all the difference to me. I have easily taken the tools from the class into a meditation practice of my own, into my yoga practice and into my life in general. I now feel more grounded, centered and alive. Using any part of my name is fine with me. I’m a proud meditator :)
